That is why our stylists use only the best organic, non-paraben, non-petroleum based products currently on the market. With a line of non-carcinogenic products and sulfate free options you are sure to find just what you need to keep your hair, and your body, happy and healthy! We offer downtown services at Columbia City prices with parking for only fifty cents an hour!
Your stylist at Pure Alchemy can give you almost any hairstyle or color you can describe or show us in a picture, photo or drawing. If you can dream it we can create it. Our goal is to work with you keeping in mind your desired hairstyle and all the variables that will impact your look including thickness, texture and length of your hair. We take the time to communicate with you so we can create a hairstyle and color completely suited to you.
Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

Danyale is back!
Danyale is the owner of Pure Alchemy and spent her first 5 years in Seattle as the Hair and Makeup Department Manager at Seattle Opera.
*She has ongoing work with The Village Theatre, 5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Teatro ZinZanni, Act and Pacific Northwest Ballet. She also works on feature films, photo shoots, commercials and fashion shows doing hair and makeup.

Beth has been cutting hair for over 23 years. She enjoys the creative and social aspects of the beauty business. Beth lives in Columbia city with her partner of 18 years and their 2 boys.

Eco-Conscious and Giving Back
We mail all hair clippings to Matter of Trust. Matter of Trust is collaborating with thousands of salons throughout the US and abroad, that donate their hair clippings to soak up oil spills. Last year over 2,600 oil spills occurred in the world. They weren't all are high profile, but most had an impact on the environment.
